About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative mechanical components and systems for new product introductions.
• Utilize advanced CAD software to create precise 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Conduct rigorous analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis, to ensure design integrity and performance.
• Collaborate closely with the R&D department to iterate on designs based on testing results and feedback.
• Build and test prototypes, documenting findings and making necessary design modifications.
• Liaise with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for production feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in new product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and CAE tools for simulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of material selection, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving design challenges.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
