Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of daily mine operations, including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling.
• Develop and implement operational plans to achieve production targets, optimize efficiency, and control costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage and maintain all mining equipment fleet, including maintenance schedules and capital expenditure planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the mine operations team, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mine Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mine operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in surface mining or underground mining techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mine planning, scheduling, and production management systems.
• Proven track record of implementing effective health and safety programs in a mining environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
