Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement mine plans , including open-pit or underground excavation methods.
• Develop and monitor operational schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee the use of mining equipment and technology, recommending upgrades or improvements.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to mine operations personnel.
• Analyze production data to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Mining Engineer , with a strong understanding of mining principles and practices.
• Familiarity with mining software for planning and simulation (e.g., Deswik, MineSight).
• Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental legislation in the mining sector.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in both a remote and on-site hybrid capacity.
