Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of mine design and production plans.
• Oversee feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new and existing mining projects.
• Optimize mining methods, equipment selection, and operational efficiency to maximize resource recovery and minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of mining engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mining engineering , with a proven track record in project leadership.
• Expertise in mine planning software (e.g., Vulcan, Deswik, MineSight) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of various mining methods, geotechnical principles, and mineral processing.
• Experience in remote team leadership and virtual project management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
