This role is essential in providing support and processing claims for policyholders who have experienced motor incidents. You will manage claims efficiently from inception to completion, ensuring clear communication with customers, repairers, and other relevant parties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service during what can be a stressful time for policyholders. You will become part of a supportive team dedicated to efficient claims management within the Northern Ireland market.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of motor insurance claims, ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders to gather necessary information and explain the claims process.
• Assess claim validity, liability, and policy coverage in line with company procedures.
• Liaise with third-party repairers, solicitors, and other relevant parties to facilitate claim resolution.
• Appoint and manage engineers and loss adjusters where necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims activity within the claims management system.

Requirements

• Previous experience in handling motor insurance claims is essential.
• Good understanding of motor vehicle repairs, accident procedures, and insurance policies.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize and communicate clearly.
