About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead their facility in Leicester . This is a pivotal role responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of childcare, education, and safety are maintained. You will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5, manage a team of passionate childcare professionals, and build strong relationships with parents and guardians. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safeguarding policies.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of nursery staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum based on early years foundation principles.
• Manage budgets, resources, and health and safety procedures effectively.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., Level 3 or above).
• Proven experience in a senior role within a nursery or early years setting, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework .
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
