Online Learning Platform Administrator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Online Learning Platform Administrator to manage and support their digital education infrastructure in Belfast . This hybrid role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the learning management system (LMS), assisting users, and managing course content. You will be instrumental in maintaining a user-friendly and effective online learning environment, working closely with technical and academic staff to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the online learning platform (LMS), including user management, course creation, and content uploading.
• Provide technical support and training to students and instructors on platform usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS and online course delivery.
• Generate reports on platform usage, student engagement, and course completion rates.
• Collaborate with the IT department to implement system updates and new features.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of platform documentation and user guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in system administration or technical support, preferably with an LMS.
• Proficiency in using and managing learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas).
• Strong understanding of IT principles and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
