About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Pharmacovigilance Officer to join their expanding safety team, utilizing a hybrid working model with a base in Norwich . This role is crucial for ensuring the ongoing safety monitoring of pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for the collection, assessment, and reporting of adverse events, contributing to robust safety surveillance systems. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and assess adverse event reports from various sources.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of safety information to regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.
- Maintain and update the pharmacovigilance database with accurate case information.
- Participate in safety data review meetings and contribute to signal detection activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of pharmacovigilance procedures and training materials.
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners on pharmacovigilance matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a related role.
- Good understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., GVP modules).
- Experience with safety databases and adverse event reporting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
