Pharmacovigilance Officer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and safety-focused Pharmacovigilance Officer to join their expanding team, supporting a remote-first operational model. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, investigate, and report adverse events and product quality complaints according to regulatory timelines.
• Perform case assessment and determine seriousness and expectedness of adverse events.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and other safety documents.
• Maintain and update the pharmacovigilance database with accurate case information.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, regulatory authorities, and internal departments regarding safety matters.
• Participate in signal detection activities to identify potential safety trends.

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
• Proven experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• In-depth knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines (e.g., GVP).
• Familiarity with safety databases and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
