About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and strategic Principal Management Consultant to lead critical client engagements from their Sunderland base. This senior role demands extensive experience in shaping and delivering complex transformation programs, advising C-suite executives, and driving significant business impact. You will be responsible for developing innovative client strategies, leading high-performing project teams, and nurturing client relationships to foster long-term partnerships. This is a leadership position for an experienced professional seeking to make a substantial contribution to client success and the firm's strategic direction, blending office and remote work for optimal flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of major consulting projects, ensuring strategic alignment and value realization.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, guiding them through complex strategic and operational challenges.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new service offerings and client segments.
Mentor and develop a team of consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Drive business development efforts, identifying and pursuing new opportunities within key accounts.

Requirements

Postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
10+ years of experience in management consulting , with a proven history of leadership and client impact.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one core consulting area (e.g., strategy, operations, digital transformation).
Exceptional executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
