Process Engineer - Chemical Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize existing chemical manufacturing processes to improve yield, efficiency, and safety.
• Design and implement process modifications and new process technologies.
• Troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide technical training to plant personnel.
• Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports on process performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in process design, scale-up, and optimization within a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations relevant to chemical plants.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
