Process Improvement Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to join their dynamic team in Coventry, West Midlands, UK . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analyses of current manufacturing and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
• Design and manage pilot projects for new process implementations, monitoring their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with production staff and management to gather feedback and ensure successful adoption of process changes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all improved processes, including SOPs and training materials.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in process improvement, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma projects.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
