About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Improvement Engineer to enhance operational efficiency within their facilities in Coventry . This role is critical for driving innovation and optimizing workflows across various departments. You will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven solutions to boost productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current operational processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations.
- Design and implement new process flows, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with departmental managers and staff to facilitate change management and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Monitor process performance and report on key metrics, providing insights for further optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in process analysis, optimization, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
- Experience with process mapping, simulation, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both remote and on-site environments.
