Process Improvement Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to join their forward-thinking manufacturing team, operating remotely and supporting operations near Cambridge . Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new processes and methodologies, such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• Collect and analyze data related to process performance, producing reports and recommendations for management.
• Develop and deliver training on new processes and best practices to relevant personnel.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure sustained improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in process improvement or continuous improvement roles, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and simulation software.
