About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Improvement Engineer to join their forward-thinking team in Oxford . This role is integral to enhancing the efficiency, productivity, and quality of our client's operational processes. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, developing practical solutions, and implementing changes that drive tangible results. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of industrial engineering principles and a passion for continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing operational processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.
- Design, develop, and implement process improvements using methodologies such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to support recommendations and measure the impact of implemented changes.
- Create process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and management teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make adjustments as needed in Oxford .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in a process improvement or industrial engineering role.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
