About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to join their forward-thinking team, with the flexibility of a remote working arrangement. This role focuses on driving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the quality of our manufacturing processes through the application of lean principles and data analysis. You will work closely with various departments, utilizing your expertise to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement sustainable improvements. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for optimizing operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings.
Design, develop, and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
Collect and analyze production data to measure process performance and track the impact of implemented changes.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and flowcharts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and quality, to ensure successful implementation of improvements.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in process optimization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or operations management.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
