About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Procurement Specialist to join their organization on a fully remote basis. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, maintaining a robust and competitive supplier base.
• Conduct negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and favourable agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and provide expert procurement support and advice.
• Monitor market trends and proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar purchasing role.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and negotiation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems, coupled with strong MS Office skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration and supplier management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous.
