Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Line Supervisor to oversee operations at their facility in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is pivotal in ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely, maintaining high standards of quality and team performance. You will lead a team of production operatives, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve departmental goals. This position offers a blend of hands-on oversight and strategic planning, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production line team to meet output and quality targets.
- Monitor production processes, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Train new employees on production procedures, safety protocols, and the operation of machinery.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster professional growth.
- Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Requirements
