Production Operative - High-Volume Manufacturing

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and reliable Production Operatives to join their high-volume manufacturing facility in Belfast . In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring the smooth flow of the production line. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to safety. You will work as part of a team to meet production targets and maintain the quality standards expected by the company and its customers, contributing directly to the output of essential goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor various manufacturing machines and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform quality checks on finished products, identifying and reporting any defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Follow production schedules and instructions from supervisors to meet daily targets.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting production deadlines.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic health and safety procedures in a factory setting.
• Willingness to learn and operate different types of machinery.
