Description:
The Test Technician is responsible for the functional testing and verification of electronic power products throughout the manufacturing process. The role focuses on executing defined test procedures, identifying test failures, and ensuring products meet specification prior to release to the next stage of production or shipment.
Working closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams, the Test Technician plays a key role in maintaining product quality, throughput, and traceability. This position is hands-on and process-driven, with a strong emphasis on following documented test methods, accurate recording of results, and escalation of non-conformances.
Main Functions of the Job
- Perform routine and non-routine electrical testing of electronic assemblies and finished products in accordance with approved test procedures.
- Operate automated and manual test equipment safely and effectively.
- Identify, record, and segregate failed units for further analysis or rework.
- Ensure accurate recording of test results to maintain full product traceability.
- Support production flow by completing testing activities in line with build priorities and schedules.
- Escalate test failures, anomalies, or equipment issues to the appropriate support functions.
- Perform initial diagnostics to failed units providing clear test data and observations.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hours of Work: 38 per week, Mon–Thu 08:30–17:30am with half hour lunch break, Fri 08:30–12:30
