About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Engineer to manage and deliver key energy infrastructure projects from their office in Wolverhampton . This role demands strong technical acumen, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate complex activities across various disciplines. You will oversee project lifecycles, from feasibility and design through to construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of energy infrastructure projects , ensuring successful execution from initiation to closure.
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and conduct project reviews.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Engineer , managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Experience in the energy sector or utilities is highly advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
