About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse range of properties within the Stoke-on-Trent area. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, profitability, and maintenance of the company's property assets. You will be responsible for managing tenant relationships, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Staffordshire property market and a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties, acting as the primary point of contact for tenants and landlords.
- Coordinate all aspects of property maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, liaising with contractors and ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease agreements and maintain property standards.
- Process rent payments, manage arrears, and handle all financial aspects of property management efficiently.
- Ensure properties comply with current UK housing legislation and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, landlords, and service providers within the Stoke-on-Trent area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management or a similar role within the real estate sector .
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant laws and regulations in the UK.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
