Property Portfolio Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Portfolio Manager to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent , operating under a hybrid work model. This role is responsible for the effective management and optimisation of a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring maximum return on investment while maintaining high standards of property care and tenant satisfaction. You will oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, financial reporting, and compliance. This hybrid position allows for essential site visits and client interaction while enabling remote work for strategic planning and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of a property portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and profitability.
• Manage tenant relations, lease agreements, rent collection, and dispute resolution.
• Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects, ensuring properties are well-maintained.
• Conduct regular property inspections and market rent reviews to ensure competitiveness.
• Develop and manage annual budgets for the property portfolio, tracking expenses and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant landlord-tenant laws, regulations, and health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience (4+ years) in property management or portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of landlord-tenant laws and property management best practices.
• Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage responsibilities in both office and field settings in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
