About the Role
Our client seeks a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join their pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Sunderland . This role is essential for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products manufactured meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficacy. You will perform a range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and company specifications. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the integrity of the production process and upholding the reputation of our client as a provider of safe and effective medicines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various analytical tests on pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and titration.
- Prepare reagents, calibrate instruments, and maintain laboratory equipment in optimal working condition.
- Accurately record and review test results, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and participate in deviation investigations.
- Support the validation and transfer of analytical methods as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency with analytical instrumentation and various pharmacopoeial methods (e.g., USP, EP).
- Strong understanding of GMP principles and quality systems.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail in a laboratory setting in Sunderland .
