About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and technically proficient Quality Control Analyst to join their manufacturing facility in Liverpool . You will perform a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of our client's pharmaceutical products. The successful candidate will possess strong laboratory skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards within a GMP-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various laboratory techniques.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution testers.
- Analyze test results, document findings accurately, and report any deviations or out-of-specification results.
- Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for testing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in method validation activities and equipment qualification as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a quality control laboratory, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and wet chemistry.
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and laboratory safety practices.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
