About the Role
Our client requires a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to join their dedicated quality assurance team in their pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Sunderland . This role is essential for ensuring that all manufactured products meet the highest standards of quality and safety before release. You will perform a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, meticulously documenting results and investigating any deviations. Working in the heart of their operations in Sunderland , you will contribute directly to the reliability and efficacy of critical pharmaceutical goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using various techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and titration.
- Conduct stability studies according to established protocols and timelines.
- Document all laboratory activities, results, and deviations accurately in compliance with GMP standards.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to performance specifications.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review and approve analytical test records and batch release documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency with common analytical instrumentation and techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer).
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Sunderland .
