Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist

Own the system. Improve the process. Drive quality.

A respected British manufacturer with an established reputation for quality and innovation is looking for a proactive, detail-focused Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist to manage and improve their Integrated Management System (IMS).

Working closely with the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting audits and ensuring documentation is accurate, controlled and always audit-ready.

A major part of the role will be leading the migration of the QMS documentation to Microsoft SharePoint — creating a smarter, more accessible and effective document control system.

What you’ll do

• Lead the migration of IMS documentation to SharePoint.

• Maintain controlled documents, procedures and records.

• Support internal, external and customer audits.

• Monitor corrective actions (CAPAs) and drive timely closure.

• Maintain compliance across AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025 and ISO 27001.

• Support customer quality submissions, calibration records and competency documentation.

• Promote continuous improvement and a practical approach to quality across the business.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a quality management environment, ideally aerospace, defence or regulated manufacturing.

• Working knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.

• Experience in document control and managing controlled records.

• Good Microsoft 365 skills, particularly SharePoint, Word and Excel.

• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and written communication.

• A self-starter who takes ownership and gets things done.

Experience with SharePoint QMS migration and internal auditing would be an advantage.
