Receptionist & sales administrator

Are you a friendly, organised all-rounder who enjoys being busy and getting stuck into whatever needs doing?

We’re recruiting for a Receptionist / Administrator to join a small, friendly team within an established business based between Newark and Grantham.

This is a varied role where no two days will necessarily look the same. You’ll be the welcoming face and voice of the business, while also providing valuable administrative support across Operations and Sales.

You’ll be involved in a little bit of everything, including:

• Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries in a friendly and professional manner

• Welcoming visitors and acting as a key point of contact for the business

• Providing general administration support across the office

• Supporting the Operations team with day-to-day administration

• Assisting with Sales Administration and customer orders

• Updating systems, records and paperwork

• Preparing documents, reports and correspondence

• Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues

This is very much an all-rounder role. We’re looking for someone who doesn't mind rolling their sleeves up, getting involved and helping wherever they can — including making a good brew for the team!

We're looking for:

• Proven experience in administration and customer service

• Confident telephone and communication skills

• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer systems

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Someone who can manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively

• A friendly, personable approach

• The ability to work independently but also be a real team player

• Your own car and full driving licence, due to the location

Location

The business is currently based between Newark and Grantham, with plans to relocate to Newark within the next 12 months.

Therefore, you'll need to be comfortable with the current location as well as the future move to Newark.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team, likes variety and wants a role where they can genuinely make themselves useful across the business.

If you're the type of person who sees something that needs doing and simply gets on with it, we'd love to hear from you.
