About the Role

Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy, is seeking a dedicated Recruitment Consultant to join their thriving healthcare recruitment team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role focuses on placing qualified healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff, into temporary and permanent positions. You will be responsible for managing client relationships with NHS trusts and private healthcare providers, alongside sourcing and vetting candidates. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for healthcare professionals, from vacancy intake to placement.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare providers in the region.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Understand the specific skill sets and requirements for various healthcare roles.
• Negotiate rates and terms of employment with both clients and candidates.
• Ensure all placements meet strict compliance and safeguarding requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recruitment, with a preference for experience in healthcare recruitment .
• Knowledge of the healthcare sector and its staffing needs is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with healthcare professionals and hiring managers.
• Proficiency in using recruitment databases and sourcing techniques.
