About the Role

Our client, a specialist Recruitment Consultancy based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire , is seeking an enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to join their growing healthcare division. This role is vital in connecting healthcare professionals, such as nurses, allied health professionals, and care staff, with leading healthcare providers across the region. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, from understanding client needs to sourcing and placing qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the healthcare sector, and a passion for making a positive impact on patient care through effective recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment process for healthcare professionals, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offering positions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, including hospitals, clinics, and care homes.
• Utilise diverse sourcing channels to attract qualified and compassionate healthcare candidates.
• Ensure all placements meet regulatory and compliance standards within the healthcare industry.
• Provide excellent service to both clients and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Achieve and exceed agreed-upon recruitment targets and KPIs for the healthcare sector.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant , ideally with a focus on the healthcare or medical sector.
• A good understanding of healthcare roles and the associated qualifications and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies effectively.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technologies.
• A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to ethical recruitment practices.
