About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Agricultural Sustainability Consultant to guide farms and agricultural businesses in adopting environmentally sound and economically viable practices. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your expertise to develop and implement strategies that enhance ecological health, reduce resource consumption, and improve long-term farm resilience. You will work with a diverse client base, providing expert advice on topics such as soil health, water management, biodiversity, and carbon footprint reduction. This is a critical position for driving positive change in the agricultural sector, making sustainable farming accessible and effective, all from a remote location.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current agricultural practices and identify areas for improvement in sustainability performance.
• Develop customized sustainability plans and roadmaps for clients, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions.
• Advise on strategies for water conservation, soil health improvement, and waste reduction.
• Provide guidance on implementing organic farming principles, regenerative agriculture techniques, and biodiversity enhancement.
• Calculate and advise on reducing the carbon footprint of agricultural operations.
• Stay abreast of evolving sustainability regulations, certifications, and market trends in agriculture.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in agricultural sustainability consulting or a similar advisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of ecological principles, soil science, and environmental management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills for remote interaction.
