About the Role

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and innovative Agronomist to join their expanding team in a fully remote capacity. In this critical role, you will provide expert advice on crop production, soil management, pest control, and fertilization strategies to agricultural clients across the country. Your insights will directly impact crop yields, quality, and sustainability, driving efficiency and profitability for farms. This position requires a deep understanding of plant science, soil health, and modern agricultural techniques, all managed and delivered through remote consultations, digital advisory platforms, and data analysis tools, fostering a connected and informed agricultural community.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze soil samples and crop performance data to recommend optimal nutrient management and fertilization programs.
• Develop and implement integrated pest and disease management strategies using sustainable approaches.
• Advise on crop rotation, seed selection, and planting techniques to maximize yield and quality.
• Provide remote technical support and guidance to farmers via phone, video calls, and email.
• Monitor agricultural trends, research new technologies, and disseminate relevant information to clients through virtual channels.

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science, or a related agricultural field.
• Proven experience as an Agronomist or in a similar crop management role.
• In-depth knowledge of crop physiology, soil chemistry, entomology, and plant pathology.
• Proficiency with farm management software and data analysis tools for remote consultation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable advice.
