About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze soil samples and crop performance data to develop tailored nutrient and fertilization plans.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions for plant diseases, insect infestations, and weed control.
• Advise farmers on the selection of appropriate crops, seed varieties, and planting techniques for optimal yield.
• Monitor weather patterns and environmental conditions to anticipate potential challenges.
• Stay updated on the latest research and innovations in agronomy and sustainable agriculture.
• Provide remote consultations and support to clients through video calls, emails, and digital reporting tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or a related scientific field.
• Demonstrated experience as an Agronomist or in a similar agricultural advisory role.
• Strong understanding of plant physiology, soil science, and integrated pest management (IPM).
• Proficiency with agricultural data analysis software and remote sensing tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
