Remote Aircraft Performance Analyst

About the Role

Our client, a leader in the aviation field, is seeking a talented and analytical Remote Aircraft Performance Analyst . This fully remote position involves the in-depth analysis of aircraft performance data to optimize flight operations, fuel efficiency, and safety. You will work with large datasets, develop performance models, and provide critical insights to flight planning and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze aircraft performance data from various sources (flight data recorders, operational logs, etc.).
• Develop and maintain models to assess fuel burn, climb performance, descent profiles, and other key performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities for fuel efficiency improvements and operational cost reductions.
• Provide expert analysis and recommendations to flight operations, engineering, and safety departments.
• Generate regular reports and presentations on aircraft performance trends and findings.
• Stay abreast of advancements in aircraft technology and performance analysis techniques .

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Performance Analyst or in a similar quantitative role within aviation.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB).
• Experience with flight data analysis and interpretation of aircraft performance metrics.
• Understanding of aerodynamics , aircraft systems, and flight operations principles.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
