About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and self-motivated Remote Architectural Designer to join their forward-thinking practice. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will play a crucial role in developing innovative architectural concepts and producing high-quality design documentation for a variety of projects. This role is ideal for a designer who excels in a virtual collaborative environment, possesses strong technical skills, and is passionate about creating exceptional spaces that respond to client needs and environmental considerations. You will be a key contributor to projects across various sectors, leveraging technology to maintain seamless communication and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs from concept sketches through to detailed design development, utilizing BIM software .
- Prepare comprehensive drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visualizations.
- Collaborate remotely with project managers, clients, and consultants via video conferencing and project management platforms.
- Research and integrate innovative materials, technologies, and sustainable design strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of planning applications and other regulatory submissions.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation in a digital format.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software (e.g., SketchUp, V-Ray).
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and planning processes.
- Excellent digital communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively autonomously.
- Strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality design output.
