About the Role
Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Remote BIM Architect to drive the adoption and integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across their diverse project portfolio. This role is crucial for enhancing design coordination, improving project efficiency, and fostering collaboration within a fully remote team structure. You will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM strategies, standards, and workflows, providing expert guidance to architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a BIM specialist to influence project delivery and shape the future of digital construction for a leading architectural practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards , protocols, and workflows for all projects.
- Lead the coordination of multi-disciplinary models using BIM software to resolve design clashes and ensure constructability.
- Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Collaborate with project architects to ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements and contractual obligations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and advocate for their adoption.
- Manage the BIM execution plan and ensure successful delivery of all BIM-related project milestones.
Requirements
- Professionally qualified Architect or equivalent technical background with significant BIM experience.
- Expertise in Revit and a strong understanding of other BIM software and platforms (e.g., Navisworks, BIM 360).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing BIM strategies on complex projects.
- Excellent understanding of the construction lifecycle and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Strong communication, training, and presentation skills suitable for a remote environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple BIM initiatives concurrently.
