Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate sustainable design strategies and principles into architectural projects from the conceptual stage onwards.
- Conduct energy modeling, life cycle assessments, and environmental impact analyses for new and existing buildings.
- Advise project teams on sustainable materials, technologies, and construction methods to achieve environmental targets.
- Stay abreast of the latest research, regulations, and innovations in sustainable architecture and green building certifications.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate sustainability performance and strategies to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and clients to achieve ambitious environmental goals and certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with a strong emphasis on sustainable design and environmental performance.
- Proven experience in applying sustainable design principles to architectural projects.
- Knowledge of environmental assessment tools and methodologies (e.g., energy modeling software, LCA tools).
- Familiarity with green building rating systems and standards.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a remote team environment.
