About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote BIM Coordinator to join their innovative design and construction team, supporting projects across the UK. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to contribute to cutting-edge projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of models throughout the project lifecycle. This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically proficient BIM specialist to work collaboratively with dispersed design and construction teams, enhancing project efficiency and delivery through advanced digital workflows, all within a supportive and forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans and protocols for various construction projects.
- Coordinate the creation, management, and delivery of BIM models from consultants and contractors.
- Conduct clash detection analysis and work with teams to resolve model conflicts and design issues.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Maintain model libraries and ensure data consistency across all project elements.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders regarding BIM deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ACC.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards and workflows, including information management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills suitable for remote work.
- Experience in clash detection and resolution.
