About the Role

Our client is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Remote Buyer to manage the procurement of indirect materials for their nationwide operations, working entirely from home. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of essential non-production items, such as office supplies, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) items, and operational consumables, all managed virtually. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to meet internal requirements, while maintaining high standards of quality and cost control. Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure a wide range of indirect materials and operational supplies in a remote capacity.

• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role, with a focus on indirect materials.
