About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Remote Childcare Consultant to provide expert advice and support to families and childcare providers nationwide. This role is fully remote, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. You will be instrumental in developing resources, delivering online workshops, and offering personalised consultations to enhance childcare practices and support child development. This position is perfect for a seasoned professional who is passionate about child welfare and eager to make a broad impact through remote engagement, contributing to best practices in childcare across diverse settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert remote consultations and guidance to parents on child development, behaviour, and parenting strategies.
- Develop and deliver online training sessions and workshops for childcare professionals on topics such as safeguarding, curriculum development, and effective pedagogy.
- Create informative content, including guides, articles, and best-practice documents, for online distribution.
- Advise childcare settings on regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and operational best practices.
- Stay abreast of current research, legislation, and trends in the childcare sector, incorporating them into advice and training.
- Collaborate with the client's team to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
- Extensive professional experience (5+ years) in a senior childcare or early years education role, or as a consultant.
- Proven experience in delivering training, workshops, or presentations, preferably online.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in using online collaboration tools, video conferencing software, and digital content creation.
