Remote Construction Project Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Construction Project Coordinator to support their project management team. This role is fully remote and focuses on providing crucial administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects nationwide. You will be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating schedules, facilitating communication between teams, and tracking project progress from your home office. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adept at using digital collaboration tools, and possesses a strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle, eager to contribute to efficient project delivery in a flexible, remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all project documentation, including plans, permits, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate project schedules and calendars for site teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients using digital platforms.
• Track project progress, identify potential delays, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Assist with procurement processes, vendor management, and invoice processing.
• Prepare regular project status reports for internal review and client updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with construction project management software and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Procore, Microsoft Teams).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote interaction.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a home-based environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in project management is a plus.
