Our client is seeking an accomplished Remote Corporate Lawyer to join their fully distributed legal team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
• Oversee and manage compliance with relevant laws and regulations across different jurisdictions.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic corporate transactions, from due diligence through to completion.
• Develop and maintain corporate policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide concise, actionable advice on emerging legal issues and risks.
• Liaise with external counsel and manage litigation effectively when required.

Requirements

• A qualified lawyer (solicitor or equivalent) with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience, preferably with in-house experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate governance , commercial agreements, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of contract law and experience in negotiating complex commercial deals.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse workload in a remote setting .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using legal technology and remote collaboration tools.
