About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Remote Early Years Curriculum Developer to join their educational content team, based from their home office near Brighton . This role is instrumental in designing and creating engaging, developmentally appropriate, and evidence-based curriculum materials for early childhood education programmes. You will work collaboratively with a virtual team of educators and subject matter experts to develop resources that support children's learning and growth across all key domains. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine early years curriculum frameworks and lesson plans.
- Create a wide range of engaging educational materials, including activities, stories, and assessment tools.
- Ensure curriculum content aligns with national educational standards and best practices in child development.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, graphic designers, and educational technologists to produce high-quality resources.
- Conduct research into new pedagogical approaches and educational trends to inform curriculum design.
- Pilot test curriculum materials and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development for the early years sector.
- In-depth knowledge of child development theories, learning principles, and the EYFS framework.
- Strong creative skills and the ability to translate educational concepts into engaging learning experiences.
- Excellent written communication, organisational, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools and a self-disciplined approach to remote work.
