About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the strategic management and day-to-day operations of their diverse vehicle fleet. This fully remote role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and optimizing costs across all transport activities. You will lead a team of dispatchers and logistics coordinators, leveraging technology and data analysis to drive performance improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of fleet management principles, and the ability to manage effectively from a distance within a dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for fleet optimization, maintenance, and cost control.
- Manage a remote team of fleet coordinators and dispatchers, setting performance goals and providing support.
- Oversee vehicle acquisition, leasing, and disposal processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Utilize fleet management software and data analytics to monitor vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and driver behavior.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
