Remote Geologist - Mineral Exploration

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Geologist to contribute to their mineral exploration initiatives, operating from anywhere within the UK. This role is crucial for identifying and evaluating new mineral deposit targets through advanced data analysis, remote sensing, and strategic exploration planning. You will leverage cutting-edge geological modelling software and collaborate with a globally distributed team of geoscientists and engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze geological, geophysical, and geochemical data to identify and prioritize mineral exploration targets.
• Develop and manage geological models using advanced 3D modelling software.
• Plan and oversee remote sensing and geophysical survey programs.
• Conduct desktop studies and literature reviews to support exploration campaigns.
• Collaborate with field exploration teams to interpret and validate geological findings.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mineral exploration geology .
• Proven expertise in geological data analysis, interpretation, and 3D modelling.
• Proficiency with exploration software (e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS, ioGAS).
• Experience with various exploration techniques, including geochemistry, geophysics, and remote sensing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
