Remote HSE Advisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and diligent Remote HSE Advisor to join their globally operating team, dedicated to upholding the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment within the Oil & Gas sector. This role is pivotal in developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures across various projects, all managed from a remote work setting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement in HSE performance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems and policies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential hazards.
• Perform site inspections and audits (virtual and occasional on-site) to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare regular performance reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HSE professional , preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of international HSE regulations and best practices (e.g., OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is highly desirable.
