About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a proactive Remote Industrial Process Engineer to join their expanding team and contribute to optimising operations across their diverse portfolio. This position is ideal for a highly organised and technically adept professional who excels in a remote work setting. You will be responsible for analysing production data, developing process improvements, and virtually supporting implementation efforts for various client sites. This role demands strong analytical skills, excellent communication for virtual collaboration, and a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles to drive efficiency and cost savings without the need for physical presence at a single site.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse process data and operational metrics from multiple sites to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and document optimised manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment configurations.
- Provide remote technical consultation and support to on-site operational teams.
- Develop and implement virtual training modules for new processes and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with remote project managers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Research and propose new technologies or methodologies to enhance process efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in industrial engineering or process engineering, with a significant portion in a remote capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in process optimisation and the application of lean principles.
- Proficiency with process simulation software, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python), and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote interaction.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects concurrently from a home-based office.
