About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp-minded and proactive Remote Insurance Fraud Investigator to join their dedicated fraud prevention team. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance claims data to identify suspicious patterns and potential fraudulent activities.
• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent claims, gathering evidence and interviewing relevant parties.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports outlining findings, evidence, and recommendations for action.
• Liaise with claims handlers, legal departments, and law enforcement agencies as necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fraud trends, detection methods, and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of fraud detection strategies and systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fraud Investigator , ideally within the insurance industry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and common fraud schemes.
• Excellent analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in using investigation tools, databases, and reporting software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct interviews and present findings effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a caseload in a remote work environment.
