About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a diligent and perceptive Remote Claims Investigator to join their expanding claims department. This position is integral to accurately assessing the validity and circumstances of insurance claims, ensuring fairness and preventing fraud. You will conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and compile detailed reports to support claims resolution. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations into various types of insurance claims to determine liability and coverage.
• Gather and analyze evidence, including police reports, witness statements, medical records, and repair estimates.
• Interview claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties to obtain accurate information.
• Assess the credibility of information received and identify potential fraud indicators.
• Prepare detailed, factual, and objective investigation reports for claims adjusters and management.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case files, documenting all investigative activities and findings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in claims investigation , fraud detection, or a related investigative field.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and claims handling processes.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional interviewing, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in using investigation tools and databases, as well as standard office software.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage a demanding workload, and maintain strict confidentiality in a remote setting .
