About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Remote IT Support Apprentice to join their virtual team, based in Belfast . This role provides an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring IT professional to gain comprehensive experience in technical support and system administration from a remote setting. You will be responsible for providing first-line technical assistance to internal users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and contributing to the maintenance of IT systems. This apprenticeship is fully remote, allowing you to develop essential skills in a flexible environment while working towards a recognised IT qualification, becoming an integral part of the company's remote-first IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to users via phone, email, and chat, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and network devices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity problems and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the IT infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Requirements

• A keen interest in IT support , hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
